Our Story
Born in Sydney.
Built for families.
Made to last.
"In 1993, Boori was born out of an independent nursery store in Sydney, Australia, with a simple ambition: to create better furniture for growing families."
A challenge that became a calling.
Our founder, Justin Chui, began his journey by taking over a struggling furniture supplier's factory. What started as a challenge soon became an opportunity to become deeply involved in every stage of production — from materials and craftsmanship to design, quality and manufacturing.
That hands-on experience helped shape the Boori we know today. For more than 30 years, we have combined a deep understanding of families with the expertise of a manufacturer.
What began as a small Australian nursery business has grown into a global furniture brand, with Boori offices across Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan and China, and products reaching families in markets including Singapore, Korea, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
30 years of growing with families.
The world has changed considerably since Boori began in a small nursery store in Sydney. Families have changed. Homes have changed. Technology has changed. One thing hasn't: our commitment to making better furniture for families.

More than beautiful. Built to belong in family life.
At Boori, we believe children's furniture needs to be more than beautiful. It needs to be safe, practical, durable and designed to become part of family life — because the furniture we make shares the spaces where children sleep, play, learn and grow.
Safety first
Every product is designed and manufactured to comply fully with applicable children's furniture safety standards in Australia and the European Union.
Timeless materials
Generations of craftsmanship using premium European beech and Australian Araucaria timber, sustainably sourced from responsibly managed plantations.
Modern innovation
We continue to embrace new technologies and materials, including engineered timber, to meet the evolving needs of families and markets around the world.
Manufacturing has always been at the heart of Boori.
Today, our capabilities extend far beyond those of a traditional furniture factory. We have developed a complete industrial chain covering design, research and development, manufacturing, quality control and logistics.
Our factory produces the Boori products sold around the world, while also partnering with international businesses through OEM and ODM manufacturing — giving us direct control over the entire journey from an idea to a finished product.
From a first cot and changing table to furniture for growing children, Boori has been there for millions of families through some of life's most important years — one family at a time.
